My condolences to the family of Mr. Makower. He was my photo teacher at Fort Hamilton H.S. From 1977 to 1981. After graduation, I went on to become a Photographers Mate in the United States Navy, serving for 21 years. My love of photography continues to this day, and the early guidance and inspiration came from Mr. Makower.
