Never To Be Forgotten

I was very saddened to hear about the passing of one of the nicest and most influential person I have met in my life. Under the guidance of Carl Makower, I learned black and while film processing and darkroom printing. As a senior at Fort Hamilton High School, I went on to learn advanced printing, camera technique, lighting and composition. As the photography editor of the 1974 Tower yearbook, I spent countless hours gaining knowledge from Mr. Makower. Thanks to him, I went on to attend SVA, and held the position of Sr. Photographer for the NYC Transit Authority. I will always be indebted to Mr. Makower for mentoring me in the field of photography. He will truly be missed and never forgotten.
