Alan Harris Reiman, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, died on December 25, 2022, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ellen, his two daughters, Robin (Garrett), Melissa, and his granddaughter, Rena. Alan worked as a driver and then a foreman at the New York Daily News until his retirement in 2002. Alan was a hero who donated over 38 gallons of blood and plasma. He was a valued member of the Knights of Pythias and a past president of his synagogue. He instilled a great love for Israel and Judaism in his family. Alan would bend over backwards to help friends and family whenever needed. Alan loved spending time with his family, especially his beloved granddaughter, Rena. He is probably rocking to the Beatles and the Grateful Dead up in heaven while attending a ballgame. He was taken too soon and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
