Obituary for Richard Schneiderman
Richard Schneiderman, former Bayonne resident, recently passed away.
He attended local schools, and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
He had retired in 2009 after working his entire career as a director of human resources.
He had been a stellar athlete throughout his youth and young adult years. Then he began playing softball in the brotherhood league, finally stopping to devote more time to his family.
His son, Wayne, gave him the nickname “The Man on the Move,” because Richard kept himself very active, and never stopped moving until his untimely death.
He is survived by his wife, Joan (who made him stop playing softball -- only kidding), sons Wayne and Todd, sisters Judy and Carole, and brother-in-law Howie, of East Brunswick, and brother Barry, and sister-in-law Jan, of Virginia.
Richard was the son of Sarah and David Schneiderman, who lived in Bayonne their entire lives until their passing in 1993.
Funeral arrangements will be private.
