This woman knew my family since I was an infant, always kind and caring. I had the privilege to be one of her students, I was a “bad” kid but she saw through me, saw what made me act the way I did and saw who I really was. She was the reason I was Able to even attend school, because of my age there were some issues. My favorite memory of her: at lunch she would calls boys or girls down to get food and snacks, and she would always sing/hum the lyrics to “na na hey hey kiss him goodbye” by the streams. She was an amazing woman and an even better mentor. She will forever have a special place in my heart.
