Rabbi Pesach Ackerman OBM was an inspiration to everyone fortunate enough to pass through the doors of Anshei Mezritch Shul. He always encouraged me in my Chazzanut and gave me every opportunity to lead services for which I will be forever grateful. We will never forget his legendary drashas, his terrific sense of humour and ahavas Yisroel towards everyone, his wonderful leadership of sedorim,and a truly incredible pidyon haben ceremony for my son Sam. He brought the nicety out in others, never complained and always showed kindness and compassion. He was my Rav, spiritual guide, my friend and one of the very best men I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He is now in Shamayim and may his memory and chessed be a guide to us all.
